The WCT is initiating a not-for-profit donation fund for community outreach. We are so often asked to donate to a fellow WCSD or community member for different tragedies, such as house fires, sudden deaths, and other causes. If you keep track of the $5 here or  $10 there, it can really add up. We’ve created a fund that WCSD members can contribute to directly from a payroll deduction to make helping different causes easier. 

This fund is open for donations from all WCSD employees through direct withdrawal from your paycheck. You can donate any amount you want.  Think of this; $1.00 a paycheck is $20 a year. Most of you give that amount or more before Thanksgiving break towards such causes. Of course you can donate more!! What an easy way to keep track of your spending and write it off on your taxes.

The fund will provide money to local efforts within our community to relieve losses or provide services for devastating illnesses , catastrophes, and emergency situations. District staff as well as families in the WCSD community are eligible to apply. This fund will help many in our local community that find themselves in dire need of monetary intervention and/or situations where help is needed for services to alleviate everyday stresses that illness or tragedies can cause a family.

**This fund will use 100% of donations towards accepted applications. Donations are tax deductible.**
