If a teacher becomes ill while at work and leaves school, the following guidelines should be followed:

1. If a teacher comes to work and leaves work before completing one hour from the start of his/her work day, the teacher is the be charged for one full day of sick leave.

2. If a teacher leaves work after completing one full hour but less than 3.5 hours after the start of his/her work day, the teacher is to be credited with having been at work for one half a day and charged for one half sick day.

3. If a teacher leaves work after completing at least 3.5 hours form the start of his/her work day, the teacher is to be credited with working a full day.
